Maximize Your Marketing Campaigns with WhatsApp
Payemoji have a Campaign management system built right inside our unified inbox! You can send a message to one person or thousands with a few clicks. This article shows you how.
1. Log Into Your Payemoji Inbox
Firstly, log into the Payemoji Inbox at https://app/payemoji.com with the credentials provided by your account team
2. Create a Campaign
In the left-hand menu, select Campaigns and click New.
Our Campaign wizard will help you setup your new campaign. In the initial screen, firstly enter a descriptive name for the Campaign.
Then, from the dropdowns, select the Channel Group and Channel. The Channel Group is a descriptive name given to the various channels available to send campaigns on. In most cases, there will be a single Channel Group so please select the default.
The Channel dropdown allows you to choose between say WhatsApp or SMS depending on the type of campaign you wish to run. You can have WhatsApp “fallback” to SMS so please speak with our support team at support@payemoij.com to enable this.
3. Recipients
The next step is to create the Recipients. Payemoji allows you to import recipients and save these Messaging Groups for later use.
You are first shown the list of saved Messaging Groups to choose from. To create a new one, select “Create New Messaging Group” from the dropdown.
Enter a descriptive name for your Messaging Group so it will be recognisable later. Then select the “.csv Template” button from the right-hand side to download our import template. Don’t worry this is easy to use!
Open the
template in Excel or your favourite spreadsheet program and copy your recipient’s
details into the respective columns. The
available columns are:
· Phone – (mandatory) the phone number of the recipient in international format (eg +447123456789). Please ensure the “+” and the country code are included. If your phone numbers are in local format with a leading zero, this will need to be replaced. In Excel this can be done, for example if the phone number is in cell A1 like this (assuming a country code of 44 for the UK): =”+44”&mid(A1,2,12)
· FirstName – (optional but recommended) first name of the recipient which will be stored in the inbox for reference
· LastName – (optional but recommended) surname of the recipient which will be stored in the inbox for reference
· AlternateName – (optional) additional name field of the recipient which will be stored in the inbox for reference. This can be used for a preferred name or even a simple reference to be able to search
· Email – (optional) email field for reference.
Once this is complete select the input box for the .CSV file. This should allow you to select the file you have created.
4. Select Template
The last step is to select the template you wish to send. The dropdown will provide you will the available templates available within the Payemoji system. Select the appropriate template for your campaign. If you do not know which one to choose or have any issues, please contact our friendly team at support@payemoji.com
These templates may include variables for you to complete (for example a date field). Please complete these for your message you wish to send. As a simple example, you may have a promotional template for a sale, and you can have a standard template you can reuse such a “Come on down to our sale starting on {{date}}!”. You can reuse this template, and each campaign complete the correct date for your sale.
A sample text of the message will appear in the window for your preview.
Click Create when you are ready to save the campaign. The Campaign will not run immediately
5. Run Campaign
Your campaign should now be in a “Ready to Execute” stage. You can set campaigns up in advance and run them when you are ready. To run the campaign simply select the campaign and click Execute!
6. View Results
You can review the results of the campaign at any time by selecting the Campaign and selecting “Execution Report”. This will give you the stats of the campaign.
