2. Log Into
Facebook
You will be
greeted with a sign up page. Please
select Yes I Have a Facebook Business Manager ID and click the Facebook Signup
button.
NOTE – the Facebook Signup button will open a
new window to Facebook and this requires pop-ups to be enabled. Below is a short description on how to enable
Pop Ups
Google Chrome
- With the Payemoji Portal page open and before you click Facebook Signup
Click
the 🔒 lock icon next to the URL.
Click "Site settings".
Scroll
to "Pop-ups and redirects".
Change
to "Allow".
Reload
the page.
Safari (Mac)
With the Payemoji Portal page open and before you click Facebook Signup
In
the top menu, click Safari > Settings for This Website...
Find "Pop-up Windows".
Select "Allow" from the dropdown.
Refresh
the page.
3. Provision
the Number with Facebook
You will
now be taken through a step by step provisioning process with Facebook. Please note that you will be asked to provide
access to UIB to manage your WhatsApp account. UIB is Payemoji’s WhatsApp Partner allowing us to connect to not only
WhatsApp but a multitude of other rich messaging services.
a. Initial Login
Screen
Log in to Facebook
through the pop up page where you may be asked to verify through your two
factor identification method (eg verification app, Facebook app, SMS, email etc).
b. Get Started
This screen
confirms your intent to connect your Facebook account to Payemoji (via UIB) to
a WhatsApp number. Click Get Started
c. Business
Information
Select the
correct Business Portfolio (usually the name of your business). Most other details should prefill – if not
add them in. Click Next
d. WhatsApp
Business Account
Here we are
setting up what is known as the WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) which is the
account which contains your WhatsApp number/s. An individual WhatsApp number is known as a WhatsApp Business Profile. Click Next
NOTE – it is
important here you select “Create a WhatsApp Business Account” and “Create a
new WhatsApp Business Profile”. Do
not select the number provided here as we will provide a number allocated
to you. In some cases when being
provided multiple numbers from Payemoji you will be instructed to select an
existing WABA however only do so if instructed by Payemoji Support staff
e. WhatsApp Phone
Number
This screen
is where we add your new number. Select
the country and then type the number provided by Payemoji or your own number
(removing the leading zero). Select your
preferred method of receiving the code – Text Message or Voice Call. If using a Payemoji number our Support staff
will direct you which to choose. Click
Next
f. Code Verification
You will
now be asked to enter the 6 digit code received via text or voice call. Enter the code and Click Next
g. Finalisation
Once the code
is verified you will be asked to confirm the connection and then to finally
complete the setup. After which you
will be returned to the Payemooj setup screen. Your number is now provisioned, Payemoji will be informed by Meta and
the setup work will commence and you will have your new service in no time!
