How can I verify my Facebook (Meta) Business Account
To use our service with WhatsApp you must have a verified Business Account so that Meta/Facebook and WhatsApp can ensure only legitimate businesses can contact customers and to protect your business identity. Unfortunately we cannot verify your Facebook account on your behalf.
In order to continue beyond 30 days after activation then your WhatsApp account needs to be verified. In general we will ask for you to verify your account prior to activation.
To verify your business:
- To start the verification go to Verify My Business and click on Start Verification. If you cannot see the button or is greyed out please contact Support
- Provide your business details. This can include your Legal business name, Business address, Phone number and Website. Make sure that the details you submit exactly match the details of your legal business entity. Ensure that the details listed at the Business Info page for Facebook also match these details.
- Confirm your business details. If you need to add supporting documents, learn which official documents you can provide. These documents are usually Certificate of Incorporation, Utility Bills, Business Registration documents, Government Issued Tax Documentation and bank statements. Note that you are best uploading PDF or JPG format for the document (PNG is generally not supported). Ensure that the details on the documents exactly match those entered in the previous step and in the Business Info page.
- Choose a contact method to confirm your connection. You may also be required to confirm your connection via email or phone verification. Note that Facebook may ask for Domain Verification - this is usually not required for WhatsApp however your business will need an official email or phone number to be able to be verified
- Email address: We'll send a confirmation code to your business's email address. The domain of your email address needs to match the one for your website. Make sure that you have access to the inbox of the email address you provide.
- Phone: We'll call your business with a confirmation code. You'll need to upload a document, such as a utility bill, that confirms your business phone number. Make sure that you have access to the phone that is registered to the business phone number.
- Text message: We'll text a confirmation code to your business's phone number. You'll need to upload a document, such as a utility bill, that confirms your business phone number. Make sure that you have access to the phone that is registered to the business phone number.
When you've finished, click Done.
